Polly Jay
Polly is the youngest daughter of circus impresario Gerry Cottle. As
soon as she'd finished her education, Polly teamed up with with sisters
Sarah and April to create the "Cottle Sister's Circus" which
went on to tour Britain for several years.
Polly enjoys all aspects of performing and is also a very experienced
costume designer/maker. Show production is another of her many talents.
Polly has worked for The Circus of Horrors, Cottle and Austen's Electric
Circus, Phillip Gandey (World Class Productions), Pete Jay's
Hippodrome Circus, Hammond Productions (theatre company involving
theatre shows and panto) and Bourne Leisure Ltd (Butlins).
TV credits include "Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway" (twice), "Walker's
Crisps" advert and Robbie Williams' "Let Me Entertain You" for
HRH Prince Charles at the Lyceum Theatre. She has also performed in numerous
music videos and at festivals.
Polly performs solo aerial Silks, Cerceaux and Bungee routines and an Aerial
Strap number with brother-in law Willy Ramsay. She also assists Jeff in his comedy
sketches and takes a leading role in Western Cowboy act.
